Abstract
Statistics on “irregular migrant and refugee” women and their social and health status in Algeria are still minimal, as they do not exceed the information provided by the High Commissioner, or within the framework of some studies carried out by associations concerned with social and health assistance to migrants in Algeria. While academic studies remain almost absent. For several reasons, including the sensitivity of the issue of migration in Algeria, as well as the lack of interest in the issue on the part of researchers and academics. This is what prompted us to shed light on migrant women coming to Algeria by asking the following question: How vulnerable is the situation of refugee women coming to Algeria?
