Summary
In January 2026, WiRL submitted a response to the Call by the Independent Expert (IE) on protection against violence and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity (IE SOGI), Mr. Graeme Reid, to inform the IE’s report on protection against violence and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity on violence and discrimination experienced by lesbian, bisexual, and queer (LBQ) women at the 62nd session of the Human Rights Council (June 2026).
