WEBINAR ON WOMEN AND GIRLS’ ACCESS TO INTERNATIONAL PROTECTION: CHALLENGES AND LEGAL DEVELOPMENTS

This online event aims to explore the recognition of gender-based violence as persecution under the Geneva Convention, address practical challenges and propose solutions for implementing gender-sensitive refugee status determination processes, and discuss the implications of recent EU jurisprudence, including the ECJ’s AH & FN ruling on Afghan women, to strengthen protections for vulnerable individuals in the asylum framework.
