Our Members
Since launching in 2021, WiRL has grown to more than 200 members with a diversity of experience and knowledge about the rights and needs of asylum claiming and refugee women.
Existing members include academics, community groups and NGO representatives, legal practitioners, policy-makers and – most importantly – women with lived experience of asylum systems. Membership of WiRL is open to anyone whose work or interests concern refugee or asylum-claiming women. Our network benefits from the knowledge and experience of our diverse membership, united in a commitment to promoting the rights and protection needs of asylum claiming, refugee and displaced women.
WiRL membership is free. Members are encouraged to contribute to WiRL, including through participation at the quarterly online Kitchen Table events, however there are no requirements of members other than a commitment to WiRL’s values and objectives.
